1. Read this article which introduces an approach to prevent air pollution. Do you think
it is practical? Let me know what you think.
Yes, the article is practical because it seeks to solve an environmental challenge that has dogged
the society for quite some time. The most intriguing thing is that the article proposes a new
direction in fighting emissions or environmental conservation. The method proposed by the
author is quite simple and inexpensive because the cost of being environment friendly is
incorporated in the building cost. This innovative solution is applicable across the board because
the cost of tracking and controlling emissions, which is hefty, does not have to be separate
because organizations can build it into their structures. Additionally, this method also proposes a
way that city builders can incorporate environmental conservation in the buildings.
2. It is much easier and more economically sound to prevent pollution than letting it
happens and then try to clean the pollution. Why do you think people do not pay
attention to this issue?
Many people do not know the connection between their actions and their environment.
Additionally, many people do not understand how something that has been around for years can
start to diminish. For instance many people do not see the dilapidation of the ozone layer on the
daily basis and concepts such global warming and rising sea level is something that only experts
see and understand. People who lack the knowhow cannot make the connections that every
action however small could have lasting impacts on the environment.
