Introduction
Marketing of an institution is a very vital implement for its success, especially the
marketing of a university. This enables the admission of students, and it allows its success;
especially, in the current competitive market. Every institution is striving to market itself, and to
put them in a strong position to get students. This calls for the use of new technology as we live
in a digital world where everybody has access to online platforms. However, the traditional ones
are still essential at some point, but have to be used in the right way. For different parties to
conduct a strong marketing strategy, they have to understand the institution quite well to start
with. Although branding is common marketing among all universities, it is still a requirement in
this field for attracting more applicants. In this case, there is a focus on Robert Morris University
in terms of marketing their majors that include the school of Nursing, school of Engineering and
school of Marketing.
For RMU to market these major schools, they have to be strategic in terms of marketing.
This should be different from all the other forms of marketing used by universities around
