Standard probation refers to a supervision where juvenile delinquents are
obligated to report to a probation officer in person on a constant basis, often once or more
a month, or as instructed by the officer. Youth offenders are administered on their
possibility to re-offend and requirements (Champion, Merlo & Benekos, 2012). There are
various conditions for standard probation such as;


The youth offender must avoid committing crime of any sort while under
probation



The youth offender must not travel outside of the jurisdictional region without the
permission of the court.



The youth offender must report to their probation officers as directed.



The youth offender must avoid contact with other offenders



The juvenile delinquent must not possess drugs and any illegal substances.
