Introduction
Sexual assault or violence is the forcing of another person to have sexual activities,
attempts to have sexual activities with another, sexual insults and the sex trafficking of the
victims. There is no consent and there are circumstances that the proprietor uses drugs to subdue
the victim (Bryant-Davis, 2011).This have been a very common occurrence in the United States if
not the whole world. Statistics shows that in about four women, at least one of them has
experienced sexual violence and in about three teenage girls, one of them had their first sexual
experience through sexual assault. This is a crime and they can be categorized into rape,
attempted rape, sex trafficking and many others. Penetration is not necessary as the attempt itself
is an offence or it can be defined to mean sexual assault
Sexual Violence
There are different forms of sexual assault that can be categorized in different categories.
An example is of rape that may happen in a marriage institution, being raped by people you do
not know, rape where the perpetrators have well planned and prepared for the act and this can be
by one person or gang, being sexually harassed by people either at the work place or in the
society in general where someone demands for sexual activities in exchange for favors, there is
also the abuse of a child, someone who is disabled or drugged person, parents forcing their
children into unwanted marriage when they are young or the refusal of a spouse to use measure
to protect the wife from pregnancy or a partner refuses to use protection against sexually
transmitted disease and finally abortion that is forced can also be categorized as sexual assault.
Human trafficking for the purposes of sexual assault is a term that has not been able to
have a similar clear definition in the whole world. But one definition can be forcing of women

and children from one area or country to another and put in a brothel where they are forced to
engage in sexual activities in the name of earning their way out. The identification and passport
