A serial killer is an individual who has the capability of murdering more than three
individuals. In most of the times, this act is known as abnormal psychological that involves
murders taking place in a given time with a significant break. In relation to the federal bureau of
investigation, they have been able to define serial killing as a series of murders, which are
conducted in a similar fashion.
Serial killing is the unlawful killing of other individuals without a clear explanation or
valid excuse. This type of execution remains to be unlawful in all the nations in the world since it
rated to remain malice and at the same time, aforethought. Most of the countries consider murder
to be a very critical crime and there should be harsh punishments conducted by the law to ensure
that there is retribution, deterrence or incapacitation and there is the resultant of life sentence to
this type of crime (Levin & Fox, 2005).
One of the most renowned serial killer in the United States of America remains to be
Manson was born in Ohio, in 1934. During his early adulthood, he was in prison for most of his
life. Charles Manson is a former cult leader in the United States of America. Currently, he is
serving a life sentence of concurrent of nine crimes he performed in the state prison in
California. He believed in what is known as helter-skelter a name that was associated with
Beatles song of the same name.
From his beginning of remaining notoriety, he embraces an ultimate emblem of insanity,
violence and at the same time, macabre. The most influential part of the life of Charles Manson
is when he led the formation of the Manson family that was associated with multiple killing in
America. The family began in the 1960s and it was involved in numerous killings or murders in

America. The family is well known for its commitment in murdering individuals in America, and
the most notable are the death of actress Sharon Tate. Therefore, it is important to understand the
life of Manson and his attributes to be a serial killer in the United States of America.
What is amazing about the Manson family is that they were taught that they were the first
reawakening or reincarnation of the original Christians in the world. Manson established himself
as the Christ, and he always narrated a story for his followers to the belief he was the Christ
through the showing of nails in his feet and hands. Therefore, through analysis of his name
Manson, he meant that he was the son of man. He was able to convince his family that there will
be the war between the black and the whites. This war was much beneficial to the Manson
family, and they will remain much popular. The family would instigate the war by killing the
rich individuals in the United States of America and trying it to be viewed as the work or the task
of the blacks.
