The film is a reflection of the war between the Texans and Mexican army over the
capture of Alamo. The Texans had decided to rebel against Mexico and therefore had decided to
take over Alamo. The Mexican army was under the command of their president, Santa Anna,
who was well known to be a dictator. The Texas Army then left Bexar to get into Mexico to fight
the Mexican army in Matamoros town (Roche, 2017). The Texan War Party had decided to
strengthen the Army as well as build a permanent government that would be recognized globally.
The Texas army was being led by William Barret Travis who adored his military duties. The
army was too small to takeover Alamo and therefore he decides to send a message for
reinforcement. The Texas army takes over Alamo and therefore decides to fortify the area.
