Appropriately staffed floors appear to be a reoccurring topic, and one that I feel very strongly about; nurse to patient ratio and appropriate staffing is essential to not only the nurse's ability to properly care for patients but also nurse job satisfaction. One problem that I seem to run into time and time again is when a nurse calls out for whatever reason it seems to be an impossible task to find another nurse to replace her.
