Question Description

I can only use Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) Library database and Google Scholar for my research. You will probably have use Google Scholar for your research. My three colleges I picked are Bowie State University, Goucher College, and Loyola University Maryland. My Topic is Time Management and I have attached the complete project and the spreadsheet I already completed in the dropbox.

Part 2: Research/Creating a Memo (Word)– 50 points

In this part of the project you will review articles (some provided, some you will find) that talk about what students should look for when choosing a college and what mistakes to avoid. From this research and from your analysis of the spreadsheet, you will create a memo from a template in Word. In the memo you will reveal your three top colleges, why you chose them and the average savings you will realize by attending AACC for two years. Using the research, identify the important factors for finding a transfer college and what you will consider in your evaluation. You will also include how each college fits within your budget.

At the end of the memo, you will identify the one topic about an issue that college students face and say why you chose the topic. This could be things like time management, debt, anxiety and depression, stress, partying, choosing a major, relationships with parents or peers, being spread too thin, etc. Remember, choose only one.

Part 3: Outline of Research Paper (Word) – 25 points

In this part of the project, you will create a multi-level outline in Word of your research paper. Studies show that creating an outline makes writing a paper easier and improves grades. You will import this outline into PowerPoint to create a presentation on your topic. It is at this point that you will begin adding your references from scholarly articles that you have found using the AACC Library database and Google Scholar. These articles will be from periodicals or PDF files, not from websites.

Part 4: Word Processor (Word) – Research Paper – 100 points

In this part of the assignment, you will create a minimum 750 word, double-spaced research paper in MLA format on the topic you chose, using the multi-level list outline you created in Word as the structure of your paper.In the last paragraph or two of your paper, you will discuss your top three colleges and your AACC savings. You will import your AACC Savings chart into the paper and you will insert one image. At the end of the paper you will insert your bibliography from the Word bibliography tool. (You will not type your bibliography.)

OVERVIEW The course project will consist of conducting research on the Internet and the AACC Library databases and using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2016.
