Computer fraud is any illegal act that involves the use of computer knowledge and technology in
carrying out fraud activities. When using computers people committing the fraud conduct the
activity in less time but with a high quantity of the product stolen. Most of the computer frauds
leave back less evidence because most of the computer frauds are always done by computer
experts who destroy the evidence completely (Nachreiner, Findorff, Wyman, & McCarthy,
2007).

There are various circumstances involved in computer frauds. Some of these circumstances may
involve a statement of contradiction that may be oral or written about a material which doesn’t
reveal the fact about the material. Misappropriation of assets, for example, giving a false useful
life rather than the one expected. False disposal of assets, that may involve assets which are
disposed of in the system yet physically they still exist (Nachreiner, Findorff, Wyman, &
McCarthy, 2007).
The payment of most ghost workers in the payroll involves paying workers who really don’t
exist in the organization. The money paid to ghost workers is taken by the top accountants. At
some time fraud can be carried out by refusing to delete names of the dead workers on the
