There is an increase in competition in the job market, and this means there is a likelihood
of the growth in the number of misrepresentations in the resumes of the candidates with the hope
of landing a job. It is important that there is focus on the changes that are taking place in the
market, as it is through this that there is focus on the legal capabilities of the issues that continue
to face the human resource department. It is important to note that the misrepresentations in the
resume are considered fraud and as such proper measures should be in place to help in dealing
with misrepresentation of the facts in the resumes and ensure that there is a fair appraisal of the
candidates.
