Success is one of those models that we all recognize, but in reality, it means something
diverse to every person (Johnson, Williams & Wood, 2015). To me, to be successful is doing
things individually and not to be helped by someone always. It is attaining my goals on my personal
terms and at my personal speed. If you accomplish what you desire to and are contented, then that
should be a success. It could be practical to life in general or personal tasks in life. Success is also
success is achieving personal objectives. Some goals are reflected unimportant by some
individuals and huge by others.
Being personal is what is of importance, and everyone has his/her method for personal
achievement. Moreover, succeeding is achieving my dreams, and although you might have attained
that set of objectives, you are prosperous if you worked hard to reach where you are. In other
words, success is doing anything in your power in order to have a successful life and being
prosperous means the accomplishment of wanted dreams and planned goals (Johnson, Williams &
Wood, 2015). Furthermore, success can be a particular social standing that defines a successful
individual that could also have got fame for its promising result.
The four on course success principle and strategies that I will use to achieve success are
self-management, self-motivation, personal responsibility and emotional intelligence. Selfmanagement includes a very wide variety of skills, potentials, approaches and knowledge (Davis,
Mountjoy, & Palmer, 2016). I would apply self-management plans to teach myself to individually
do tasks and take a dynamic part in observing and supporting my own behavior. A significant
objective of my education is to nurture independence and individuality. Moreover, selfmanagement plans can be applied before any unwanted behaviors transpire. I can use the

strategies to improve my performance academically, efficiency, time-on-task, as well as to reduce
the unwanted behavior. For example, I can set goals, monitor my behavior, and assess my progress
at school to ensure success.
