Subject: Analysis of the Level of Employment in the United States.
Introduction
The purpose of this analysis is to assess the Level of Employment and Job opportunities in the
USA. According to the study done, the level of employment has been gradually changing on the
various occupations. This has been caused by various replacement needs and opportunities that
exist in those occupations. According to the study done by the United States Bureau of Statistics,
occupations such as Administrative services managers, General and operations managers,
Computer and information systems managers, Marketing Managers, Human Resources Managers
among others are the fields which currently have been experiencing high job openings. The study
that has been conducted indicates that most of the field which is business and technology related
activities are creating have a high possibility of creating employment. On the other hand,
occupations such as Chief Executives, Legislators, Farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural
managers and Gaming managers among other has very few job openings.
Therefore, to understand more about Level of Employment in the United States, the analysis of
the gathered data has to be analyzed. The analysis was carried out using SAS statistical tool, and
a meaningful report was attached to it. The following data was analyzed using the SAS tool;
employed persons by industry, sex, race, and occupation.
Issue Analysis:
Most of the people fail to realize that technology is creating new jobs that remain to be highly
payable, which requires highly skilled labor. According to the research done, technology remains
efficient, though technology requires the control of trained personnel, it this regarded as a creation
of employment since highly skilled labor force is required. Also, there will be the need of technical
skills from human skills to replace, update and at the same time, fix these systems and software to
remain efficient.
Currently, technology has resulted to gadgets that are designed to perform complex tasks.
Therefore, those jobs that require emotional intelligence, creativity, social skills such as mangers
position, nursing and entrepreneur are not yet occupied by the technology. Hence they create many
jobs that need to be performed manually. Therefore, the late of employment today is growing due
to the increased level of technology, but it calls for highly skilled personnel.
Data:
All the data for the various occupations was collected from governmental and non-governmental
organizations/institutions. To clean the data, data profiling was carried out. After the data was
collected, it was sorted out according to industry, races, and gender. The following was the total
SAS result for both gender when it comes to employment.
