Description
I am attaching two files which are the average of some database and the chart, I want to write a report and powerpoint project. Chose a topic that relates to the transportation system and the three valuable data between two states ( FL and VA). Here the codes and the meaning of each one.
1- HHSIZE / count of HH members
2- VEHTYPE / vehicle type
3- URBRUR / Household in urbun / rural area

Transportation
system
A report on transportation systems in Florida and Virginia
introduction
Transport or transportation is the movement of people,
animals and goods from one location to another.
Modes of transport include air, rail, road, water, cable,
pipeline and space.
The field can be divided into infrastructure, vehicles and
operations.
Transportation system refers to the collection of
different modes of transport and transportation channels
in a country.
Transportation in FA and VA
Transportation in the United States is facilitated by road,
air, rail, and waterways (via boats).
The vast majority of passenger travel occurs by
automobile for shorter distances, and airplane or railroad
for some people, for longer distances.
In descending order, most cargoes travel by railroad,
truck, pipeline, or boat; air shipping is typically used
only for perishables and premium express shipments.
Transportation systems survey
This report is based on a survey conducted on two states in
the United states transportation professionals drawn from the
staff, localities, and consultants.
The survey sought to identify unmet data needs and existing
data sources that can address these needs.
The research team identified existing VDOT and non-VDOT
databases that can meet the needs of professionals.
This survey work had three main steps: survey design, survey
implementation, and survey analysis.
Transportation systems performance
Transportation performance measures increasingly
capture a wide spectrum of transportation indicators.
They include incident and recurrent traffic congestion,
safety, environment and alternative mode use freight
movement, jobs housing balance, infrastructure
maintenance, and financial system performance
measures, like allocations, obligations, and expenditures.
Intrinsic differences in such a wide spectrum of data
classes present a challenge for effective and efficient
utilization of the data.
Methods used
Five tasks defined the report approach:
1. Develop a conceptual framework relating data to
transportation planning decisions.
2. Conduct a literature review of planning data needs
and solutions.
3. Document Virginia databases in terms of type, users,
and title.
4. Design, implement, and analyze the results of a
survey of transportation professionals.
5. Assess potential short-term solutions to fulfil unmet
data needs.
Survey Design
The survey had the following sections:
Job descriptions, including job title, main tasks
performed by the division where the...
