Water and Ocean Structures
Introduction
Water can be defined as a chemical compound that is in liquid form. It is the only
compound with the presence in liquid, solid and gas. Every person is familiar with water; some
see it in the form of rain, rivers, snow, ocean or even streams. Water is made up of two atoms,
that is hydrogen and oxygen as well as molecules, which are atoms that are brought together by
chemical bonds. Water molecules are held together by the hydrogen molecules. This happens
when two ends of a molecule bond. One has to be positive the other negative.
Water Structures
There are two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Normally Oxygen and water the
water molecule is normally in liquid form in high temperatures it vaporizes while in low
temperatures it freezes. When water freezes it becomes ice when it vaporizes it becomes vapor.
Water molecules are able to stick to each other, this is commonly referred to as cohesion, and
