There are various activities that people always engage in and all these can be classified as
either moral or immoral activity. People live by a number of norms which dictates the nature of
all that we participate in. There are some activities that are considered to be generally bad and
people should not even be associated with while other activities are just normal and right. The
society is made up of some norms that are not necessarily written down as laws but just define
the right manner in which people should conduct themselves. These norms or conducts of
behavior may vary from one culture to the other within different regions (Naim, 2003). Apart
from the normal conduct of behaviors found in different cultures, there are some kinds of
behaviors that are stipulated by the law to be immoral. These are a variety of behaviors that are

Some of these conducts can be categorized to be universally illegal because of the social issues
they cause to the society. The examples of social problems that are always encountered in
different parts of the world are illegal prostitution, money laundering, and illegal drug use. This

tackle the acts of prostitution and they are known as prostitution laws (Parker, 2000). The
engagement in prostitution usually involves two parties and that is, the person who sells the
sexual services and the other person who is ready to receive and purchase the services. All these
people are penalized by the prostitution laws. In some circumstances, there are some people
whose their work is to arrange for the prostitution activities but they are not physically involved
