Introduction
My name is.......................... I am a public relation staff at Radical corporations, which is a
hotel and restaurant in Miami. I work under Mr. Browne who is my manager in the public
relations department. My goal is to become a human resource manager. There is skills,
abilities, and knowledge that I should have before being able to perform in this position. This
article is my individual development plan, and it will state my objective, strengths, and goals
to getting to be a human resource manager.
However, there are general employee skills that a manager is supposed to have; they
include interpersonal skills, teamwork skills, communication, planning and organizing,
organizational knowledge, problem solving and analytical skills. Skills in judgment,
motivation, decision making, personal development, flexibility, and leadership are also vital
in becoming a human resource manager. Interpersonal relationships in management will
make me aware and respond to the needs of my workers, taking into consideration their
