Ethics simply describes the distinction between good and evil between the correct and
incorrect human actions. Before exploring the ethics in “Lights out” or “The Curiosity,” it is
important to understand both works. “Lights out” presents a well-lit profound ghost named Diana
that worries Sophie, a middle-aged mother. Consequently, Sophie undergoes depression that
needs immediate treatment for normal functioning. Meanwhile, Diana takes advantage of the
latter’s instability to uphold her existence in the living realm. Ultimately, the aides of Sophie to
sanity encounter Diana that comes up with few things to reject the quest (Sandberg, 2016). On
the other hand, Kiernan, (2013)’s thriller novel raises questions of the nature of humanity and
life. Dr. Kate Philo and his team finds a body of a judge named Jeremiah Rice in ice and
successfully reanimates him in a lab.Alternatively, “American blackout” reveals gritty features
on the effect of cyber attacks on the United States electrical grid.
The idea of bringing a frozen man back to life is unbelievable but interesting. Foremost,
“The curiosity” raises many problems like whether Judge Jeremiah’s reanimation was
worthwhile or whether he was treated as human being. Based on circumstances, beyond control,
