F., & Aiken 5.1 para1). Observations are notes collected about a child. These observations are needed for the screening process. These two observations are needed in order to diagnose a child.

It does align with the screening process from chapter 5. The video and the case study started by doing observations taking all the information before making a decision. Both cases meet with parents to talk about the situation. The give more information about the process of screening a child than the video.

We have a boy that at the beginning of the year he did not wanted to go to his sit or have any contact with other children he did not listen to the teachers. We brought it up to the principal because he did not want to go to the restroom and he was wetting his pants every day. The principal told us to observe and record his behavior because he was too small to do any type of screening. So that’s what we have been doing. He has progress a lot since the beginning of the year. He is more social and participates in the groups and the most important he can go to the restroom by himself.
