Human trafficking, also called modern day slavery, is a serious global problem. Men, women and children are trafficked from poor countries to richer countries for hard labor, prostitution and household labor without pay.

Human Trafficking
Modern slavery, well known as human trafficking, is a severe global problem. Human
trafficking is a term used to describe harboring, recruiting, defrauding, pressurizing through
transporting or using of force on an individual for the intention of involuntary servitude, arrears
bondage or slavery. To battle out human trafficking, the federal government has formed several
agencies to tackle the issue, and such an agency is Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
ICE is the largest agency within the Department of Homeland Security, which deals with
enforcing a wide choice of crimes that are related to border security, and human trafficking is
one of their main concerns. To fight against human trafficking, ICE has developed several
approaches to curb the issue (U. S Department of Justice, 2007).
ICE as an organization came up with strategies that would protect people from the issue
