My client is a female City University student, who happens to exhibit unusual and
nauseating characteristics; a scenario I don’t expect to be happening at people of her age. Being
an eighteen year old in the Faculty of Business Studies, Eliza’s academic performance and her
general personality need expeditious intervention to salvage the deteriorating situation. The
nature of her parent’s work seems to be contributing to this situation. The girl is lonely driven by
the fact that her dad is a heavy commercial track driver while her mum is an elementary school
teacher. She happens not to be having quality time with her parents for effective and efficient
mentoring process (Stephen et al 1995).
Her academic records prove the best reasons as to why there is an urgent need for
psychological assessment in order to rectify the situation (Stephen et al 1995). Her university
professors complain that the young lady is not interested in taking part in any co-curricular
activities; a part from few academic exercises with strong interventions from the lecturers.
Being a competent and highly experienced psychological counselor, I am convinced that
certain behaviors are associated during specified stages of development (Gerow et al. 2016). I
