Brief profile
This is a romantic film that was written, directed and produced by Baz Laurmann in
conjunction with two other directors; Craig Pearce and Gabriella. The film is based on the work
of William Shakespeare (Whitington, Paul 2007). Romeo falls in love with Juliet at the party;
despite the fact of the two coming from antagonistic families. Romeo comes from the Montague
family while Juliet is a Capulet family member. The two families are ever engaging in wars of
the business, politics, economy and other social spheres of life. Despite the fact of fierce
criticisms from other people, the movie received huge views in the United States of America and
across the globe.

known families of both Romeo and Juliet (Whitington, Paul 2007). Just like the original work of
William Shakespeare, it is very clear that the families of Montague and Capulet features in this
film. The filmmaker was keen during the production process; by retaining the original
Shakespearean dialogue. He just added authentic flavor by making the written work of William
Shakespeare being translated into digital format.
Evidently, the gunfights that are presented in this film are the exact mirror of the original...
