US Constitution Amendment In this essay, I propose to amend the constitution’s provisions on the number of representatives from each state in the House of Representatives in the United States. The United States constitution gives the rights to citizens of enough representation in the various elective positions that are availed. This representation would be key to ensuring that all the individuals who are concerned feel that they are not ignored by their own government but that they are being uplifted and being held with high regard. In this sense, there are various lacking points in the constitution that should be worked on effective immediately to ensure that all the groups are well represented. In this regard, I propose a change to the United States law on selection of representatives the US House of Representatives. Under the current constitutional provisions, some of the activities which are carried out in the House may be biased, which means that representation is also potentially biased. To change this, it would be prudent to change Article ?, Section ?? of the Constitution to ensure that all peoples from all states are adequately represented. This would ensure that one state’s preference does not become over-represented relative to the rest of the nation?. More specifically, the nation has so many individuals who are concerned about the success of each participant. This being the case, ensuring that participants from all states are brought to the table with equal opportunities would go a long way to solving the unequal representation. For instance, California is the most represented state in the House of Representatives while other states such as Alaska only has one representative. There is a flaw in such an arrangement. The possibility that individuals from the highly represented states can take over the legislative role for the better of their states is high. This would mean that the lowly represented states will receive less focus from the federal government seeing that the laws govern what the national government does to the states. Considering the formulas that are used in arriving at the number of representatives, it should be changed effectively to ensure that it caters for the changes in these states that are happening. Some of the states that had lower populations at the time when the constitution was promulgated now have higher populations. This means that these increased populations should be represented adequately as well. To achieve this, the House of Representatives should have more people from these places. Furthermore, these representatives have the interests of the state at heart. Putting the fate of a state on the hands of one representative may mean that the person can do whatever he feels is right without necessarily consulting. In other better-represented states, the representatives usually consider the views of each other before they come to the House and introduce legislation. In the case of singular representation, an individual does not have to do this since they have unitary power in the House of Representatives that should otherwise have been shared. On top of this, ensuring that there is adequate representation from all states will cease putting the fate of millions of Americans in a handful of individuals. Increasing this representation is a key aspect that the ruling elites must focus on. Though it may be a challenging thing to undertake, it is a decisive step to ensure that every state is given an equal right in determining national decisions since as independent states, they need to be considered equitably in the decision roles. In this light, I would propose that the US Constitution be amended regarding the State Representation in the House of Representatives as explained above.

US Constitution Amendment
In this essay, I propose to amend Article 3 Section 2 of the constitution of the United
States of America. The Constitution provides for relative representation in the U.S. House of
Representatives and the seats in the House are allotted based on the population of each state. The
representation is important as it ensures that citizens are represented based on their numbers and
the danger of discrimination is kept at bay. Since representation is based on the most recent
Census conducted after every ten years in the United States, there is need to amend the clause 1
of Section 2 that defines composition and election of members. In this sense, the amendment
should focus on equal representation of the electorate irrespective of population. Because all
states are the home of Americans with different societal needs, biasness on the number of
