psychoactive drugs, it has been a losing battle, which is evidenced by the escalating numbers of
drug abusers filling the prisons, hospitals, and courts. Worth a note, the government failure to
control the use and selling of psychoactive substance is attributed to the confusion regarding
which drug to classify as illegal and legal. Apparently, the society definition of the drug makes it
hard for the US government to criminalize drug usage as well as eradicate supply of these
psychoactive substances.
Notably, it is evident that both the government and the society condemn the use of some
