Triggers are programmed to perform when a DML event occurs in the database server. Triggers
automatically perform a task when some type of SQL Server action occurs. As its name suggests, a trigger is
triggered by some monitored action. The monitored actions are categorized into three categories namely
1. DML (Data Manipulation Language) -Its trigger executes when an Insert, Update or Delete statement
is performed.

DDL. (Data Definition Language) - activated by a schema level event such as creating a table or
altering an index.
