Introduction
Epidemiological studies involve the analysis of trends and patterns as well as the
causative agents of various diseases and other health conditions that affect the general population
(Centers for Disease control and Prevention, 2014). Epidemiology, which is a branch of biology,
also consist of looking into the manner in which those diseases are transmitted and the
widespread effects of such diseases on the population. In simple terms, epidemiology is one of
