How Is Python 100 Times Faster Than Applescript?
Question Description
I wrote similar codes in Python and in Applescript. I only wrote about a 3rd of the code in Applescript. It was something that copied images and moved them around to different files. Even though Applescript only did a third of the job it still took more than a minute to do whereas Python got the job done in less than a second. Seems kind of incredible to me that one set of binary code is 100 times faster than another binary code. What is going on here? Help.
