tailoring a communication network as swift and flexible as a real time server and as well as

In an SDN a network controller can monitor information flow from a certain single point
without having t interferencesto any single router or switches and also send services to any point
in the network without considering which devices are connected to that point. The most
important features for SDN are operational,variation, network virtualizing and automated
information flow through coding and programming.intially, these networks targets purposely on
variation of the monitor plane of the communication network, hence controls how data packets
should run via a network from the data layer of the communication network. Data plane mainly
moves packets from one point on the network to the other. After a data packet reacheson aswitch,
there certain instructions embedded on the switch vendor shelf microchip that tells the switch the
location to forward the packet, router or the switch forwards packets to the same location along
the same router and assumes all the packets to be alike (Bernardos, et al,2014).
In a modern SDN,guidelines for packet handling are delivered to switch by a controller-a
program running on a server some place, and the switches always ask the controller for rules as
demanded, hence enabling it with information about the traffic they are shaping. The switches

and controllers collaborate through the controller south bound interface, which is usually open
flow through assistance of other protocols
Unlike in traditional network whereby special appliances such as firewall an load linking
balancer, an SDN uses a program that utilizes the controller to shape the data plane behavior.
Programs engage the controller through its north bound interface. As from 2014 ,there has been
no official standard for the controller application interface compatible to match open flow as a
main south bound interface.it is anticipated that open daylight controllers northbound application
