“The patient states that she has minor, flesh-colored swellings within the vagina and
anus.”
“The patient complaints of itchiness and a burning sensation within the genitals.”
“The patient complains of bleeding after having intercourse.”
“Other complaints are the presence of vaginal discharge.”
HPI:
The patient complains that she has been feeling itchiness within the labia of the vagina.
There are swellings within the vagina which have lasted for around three weeks.
According to the patient, the symptoms first started at the vaginal lips and advanced
towards the anus. The swellings are in cauliflower-like shape. Some of the aggravating
factors include burning sensation and itchiness within the labia of the vagina. There are
no alleviating factors regarding the condition. Some of the pertinent positives include
cauliflower-like shaped growths within the vaginal area, the swellings are flesh-colored

and are mostly within the vaginal lips. The pertinent positives include vaginal discharge
which introduces the subject of genital herpes in women. Some of other related diseases
include Herpes Simplex, Condyloma Acuminatum, Vulvar neurofibromatosis and
Condyloma Lata (Ghadishah, 2016) At child age, Bridget was diagnosed with
pneumonia, and she has been managing her sugar levels well after she was diagnosed
with diabetes last year. She has never had any diagnostic tests which are related to the
current illness, but she has been under two surgeries after she had an accident with her
car around one year ago.
Medications:
There are various medications that can be used to deal with Bridget’s condition.
However, the condition might return after some time because medications do not
eliminate the HPV virus completely. The best medication for the patient is trichloroacetic
acid and Bichloroacetic acid. The reason is that the medication is preferable because it is
suitable for pregnant women as Bridget is five months pregnant.
