Organizational Change
In most of the modern organizations, change is a component which is used to bring
developments and renovations. Change is determined by a leader who leads a particular
organization, and the one who has principles and strategies of making changes to the
organization (Tidd, Bessant&Pavitt, 1997). Therefore, modern organizations have used this
aspect in implementing ideas and achieving opportunities. Moreover, it has been a fact that
making an organizational change determines the effectiveness of the leaders and the personnel
responsible for the management of internal and external environment of an organization. So, the
prosperity of an organization nowadays depends on the type of changes made and how they
effectively work (Todnem, 2005).
However, there are many ways in which leaders determine changes when necessary. One,
change is determined when an organization has been seen to be diminishing regarding
commercial rates and the production processes. That is when a leader will decide to make the
necessary changes that will boost the organization. A firm will not be expected to remain in the
same position when its activities and financial processes are detrimental. Secondly, when an
organization needs to expand its market internationally, a leader will determine an effective
change that will bring positive outcomes. Herein, an organization will be changed from operating
nationally to international, and some of the aspects will be implemented that were not there
before. Moreover, a leader can determine a change in an organization by getting some advice and
ideas from the big organizations that have succeeded. He or she will be advised on how to make
necessary changes and how to implement them in an organization.Consequently, there is no
specific time or place for the change. Change can only be made by a leader when only he or she
has seen the necessity of making changes and implementations (Bamford& Forrester, 2003). The

change should be continuous depending on the organization and the type of changes which are
renovated. This is because an organization needs to expand and compete with other
organizations.
