Default gateway refers to a router in networking that involves forwarding of the packets
on to other networks. The term default means that the gateway is a second-hand by default unless
it turns out that another application enumerates a different and a unique gateway (Morris, 2003).
It is used to allow devices within one network to communicate with other devices in a different
network connection. For instance, in a TCP or IP network, a default gateway serves as a node in
which it works close to a default route setting to determine where to send the packets for IP
