Default gateway refers to a router in networking that involves forwarding of the packets
on to other networks. The term default means that the gateway is a second-hand by default unless
it turns out that another application enumerates a different and a unique gateway (Morris, 2003).
It is used to allow devices within one network to communicate with other devices in a different
network connection. For instance, in a TCP or IP network, a default gateway serves as a node in
which it works close to a default route setting to determine where to send the packets for IP
addresses. The fact is that a default gateway is by definition router.
In addition, default gateway works differently compared to other interconnections pathways
over the internet. First, the major role played by default gateway resides within the intermediate
