Scanned by CamScanner Scanned by CamScanner Scanned by CamScanner Scanned by CamScanner Scanned by CamScanner a) Prelab questions #6 for this lab (Torque) was for optional EXTRA CREDIT (10 pts.). 2. Complete lab report material for lab: "Torque & Rotational Equilibrium (chap. 10)" Due on Tuesday ( 06/27/17 ) v a) Complete “Meter Stick Data Table” and “Data & Calculations Tables 1 - 3". V b) Answer post-lab questions # 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5. v Other relevant information. 1. Side Note: The next lab on the lab schedule is: “Pendulum - Approximate Simple Harmonic Motion". I. Read the theory in your lab manual (Lab 19), or your textbook about the pendulum & SHM in preparation. V II. Do ALL seven (7) questions of the prelab questions for "The pendulum – Approximate SHM", chapter 19. Due on Tuesday ( 06/27/17 ) v Additional note(s) on completing this lab: 1. DO NOT DO “Data & Calculations Tables 4 & 5”. 2. For part 1 & 2 the % difference is for the two quantities, Etcow and Etcw. 3. For part 3, you are calculating the experimental value of the mass of the ruler (M.)exp. You had measured the known value of this ruler (M.) at the very beginning of the lab. These two quantities are compared by % error calculation. “Xg” is what was found at the very beginning of this whole experiment as well. 4. Question 2 would apply to that of the part 3 only. Forget that of part 4; which we did not do. 5. Do not do question 6. We did not do part 4. 6. If you are still unsure what to do, then read the instructions/procedures. :)
