- Describe the evolution of the genus Homo and the trends that occur in the physical characteristics of early hominins. Discuss the physical and social characteristics of at least 3 different species of the genus Homo and their position in relation to the general trends of the genus. Present the species you choose in chronological order from earliest to most recent.
- Discuss the order of Primates and the physical and social characteristics unique to the order. Then, describe the similarities and differences between the different types of primates including New World and Old World monkeys, apes, and prosimians. (Exclude humans from your discussion of the order).

though marriage is a universal human trait, the types of marriages vary
cross-culturally. Define marriage and then describe different types of
marriage (monogamy, polygyny, and polyandry), and give an example of
each. Explain how certain types of marriage may be beneficial in
different situations.
