Introduction
Practitioners are bound to provide safe health services for their patient to increase the
patient outcome or to ensure the patient health care is good. They are a set of rules and bylaws
which are supposed to administer the nurses who are practicing. These legal and ethical
responsibilities of the nurses are set to ensure there is a safe health care delivery to the patients
and also to guide the nurses to provide the standards of services required (Faden, Beauchamp,
and Kass, 2014). In some condition, it is accepted for the nurses to refuse to provide health care
services to the patients but this may have some consequences to the nurse.
