The journey to secure American state from the hands of its colonial masters took a long
and rough path full of pain and anguish, with numerous battles launched against their enemies
not bearing good fruits as they got overwhelmed each moment. But it was not until the fifteenth
famous Saratoga battle that claimed the turning point of all the inequities of Americans which
was reinforced by the French troops. But the journey to this famous glory that has gone into the
diaries of American archives is not merely told and written off it has a lot of landmarks left
behind for the generations to pay tribute to and also consult with to really claim their patriotism
to the very soldiers who endeared their lives to see the current state of freedom enjoyed to last
man standing in America today. This traced down currently to the monuments erected in the
Saratoga National Park for instance; the British General Burgoyne who surrender during this
battle after being overwhelmed together with his soldiers and later returned to England and that
is documented in the Saratoga Monument which stands 155-feet for his commemoration.
