Review the following two (2) automotive advertisements. Determine the target
customer/market(s) that the vehicles in each of these ads would appeal to. In your post, give
information about each target group. It could include information related to age, lifestyle
values, attitudes, wants and needs, gender, age, number of kids, education income, stage in the
household lifecycle, geographic location (urban vs. rural, etc.), or risk orientation, etc.
Next, come up with a brief marketing pitch (two to three (2-3) sentences) to persuade the
target customer that the vehicle is right for him/her.

In the first ad. A real Man does not honk the horn. He scares the car in front of him.
In this ad it targets age over 35 year old male or female, we do have some strong women. The
truck will target rural areas, who are either into farming or dirt riding, just real rugged area. They
are aggressive drivers and you better clear the way when you see them on the highway.
These individuals may have kids, but this is their work truck and will have more conservative
family vehicle at home. Some may just want to be superior on the road, like above the smaller
cars, which may feel intimidated and slow down to let them pass by. They could see above and
give them view of the traffic ahead.
In the Second Ad:
Ad will target both men and women, they are not too much into the make of the car but just want
a dependable car. Usually, single who had a hard start, lots of car issues but now they are out of
college or just someone who is tired of car problems. They may have finally working in a decent
job and just need to ride in style and not worry about the car problems due to overheating or
stopping on the highway or getting late to work because of car issues. They have struggled and
worked towards this, and now they will indulge in luxury. Their age will be 25 and up.
I know the second Ad pertained to me. I was just in hell, and my oh my was it peaceful when i
got my first brand new car off the lot. Great feeling. I did not care what make or brand it was,
Just happy i did not have to stop and reduced coolant in my gillapie. LOL..
