Servant Leadership, Ethical Leadership, and Moral Intelligence
The common aspects of servant leadership, ethical leadership and moral intelligence include
selflessness, impartiality, as well as intrinsic motivation. All these aspects form the basis of a
leader aimed at ensuring service for the people. Considering the first aspect, a leader should be
selfless. The leader should not use the employees for his/her gain. He should also be dedicated to
ensuring that the working environment s/e provides for the employees is conducive in such a
way that, in case s/he was to perform their duties, s/he would be able to appreciate the working
environment.
Also, the leader should portray impartiality in dealing with his/her group. Through this, the
leader is defined to treat all the employees equally, without prejudice of any nature. The leader
should also ensure that the performance of the employees is the one used in case of promotion, as
well as their conduct, other than their physical appearance, social, economic or even religious
affiliation. Through this, the leader can give his group equal opportunities.
The other aspect of a leader considered a servant leader is intrinsic motivation. The leader
defines the direction to be taken by the group. A leader with intrinsic motivation is usually
committed to the goals of the organization. This commitment shown by the leader can translate
into a motivation to the other members of the organization.
Role of the Organization in Promoting the Leadership Styles
In ensuring that there is a fit between the organization culture, as well as the employee-leader

a sense of responsibility to achieve the goals.

The forms of leadership including servant leadership, ethical leadership, as well as moral
intelligence are suitable in the majority of businesses today. This is because; they aim at realizing
