Introduction
Numerous advantages can be associated with the use research and electronic medical
records technology in a health care technology. For definition sake, EMR is the kind of
technology that allows the recording of a patient's data. Mostly, patients have to move from
one doctor to another due to varied reasons, and during the transfer, a patient must move with
his or her data. It is for this purpose that EMR technology comes in handy. It is important to
note that the technology is not only beneficial to the patients but also to the health care
providers and a health-care facility in general. Mostly, the use of EMR transforms a facility
to a paperless organisation, and it enables the offering of high-quality healthcare to the
