This week, students will be required to participate in a dialogue where they will evaluate Cold War American culture from a biblical perspective.
Cold War culture in America presented a particular understanding of the “good life.” Every culture has its own view of what makes a “good life.” How does a culture define success? A good citizen? A good member of a family? The Scriptures also speak to these issues.
Pulling from your knowledge from the lectures, historical documents, and readings, evaluate ONE aspect of Cold War culture from a biblical perspective. For example, if you were going to focus on the idea of success—how did Cold War culture define success? Is this in line with how success is defined by the Holy Bible?
There is no need for any source other than the Bible. 200 words due Wednesday.
