Choose one animal listed below and post a discussion board essay about the animal’s purpose in ancient Egyptian art. IN YOUR OWN WORDS, describe what the animal represented, where they would be depicted in art scenes, what deity it was associated with (if any), etc. This post should be two paragraphs minimum.

Egyptian Sacred Animals – Outline
Thesis statement: The different sacred animals represented different gods and goddesses with
who the Egyptians believed that were in charge of different parts of nature and that they were
able to make their lives better and help them in any way. They, therefore, ensured that the sacred
animals lived a pampered life near the Egyptian temples as each was seen as a living form and a
different manifestation of the powerful gods and goddesses.
