Population growth is such a hot topic due to how it impacts our everyday life. According to Withgott & Laposata (2012) our population has increased to over 7 billion people. I also believe that with the increase of the population, in reference to contraception, planned parenting, and abortions, is based on religions as well as political views, and the responsibilities of the individuals who decide to go through with abortions. “Specifically, there are limits to many of our natural resources, the various substances and energy sources we take from our environ-
ment and that we rely on to survive” (Withgott & Laposata, 2012, p. 2). With limited sources and the the population increasing daily, once our sources which are renewable and nonrenewable sources run out, that is where the main issue with population growth really begins. As far as the political debate on abortion, contraception, and planned parenting, I believe that political views of all individuals is based on their beliefs and how they decide their opinion and how they feel.
