Tesla is a motor vehicle company in the United States of America that produces and
supplies electric cars and trains of high efficiency to other producers. Tesla was established in
the year 2004 with its founders being Mark Tarpening, Ellon.R Musk and Jeffery B. The
headquarters of Tesla are located in Palo Alto, California. The first product of this company
was Telsa roadster which was first produced in 2008. This sports car by Telsa Company is
considered to be the first electric sports car of high performance ever. After production of the
roadster, the production of model S, sedan followed. The sedan was very attractive, had high
performance and great capacity. Since their production, the products of Telsa motor company
have received some awards. This paper describes the internal operations of Telsa motor company
which is based on cultures and procedures of operation.
The major elements involved in analyzing the internal environment of the company are
the kind of resources and skills it uses. To begin with, Telsa is very clear on the critical values
that I use in its internal environment. These patents are useful in the production of batteries and
electric power trains. Forty of the company’s patents have been awarded while two hundred of
them still pending. The company has not yet reached the epitome of its success yet has been
recognized in sectors that have been researched on immensely by other manufacturing
companies of the same field. An example of the company’s best-selling product is the Telsa
battery which is ranked as the top battery with the highest energy capacity (McWay, D. C.
2014).
The company recruit’s employees who have great talent in the engineering field. These
employees give the company the potential of designing, manufacturing and marketing its
