Consumer preferences and Trends regarding purchase of fresh food
Question Description
Research and data collection around what the available knowledge or information is
regarding consumer preferences and trends related to purchasing their food –
locally, directly from a farmer, at a market or farmers market.
What are the preferences and trends of consumers with regards to purchasing fresh food locally, direct from farmers, and/or from farmers'/local markets?
What are the attributes or values of consumers that we know shop locally, direct from farmers or at farmers/local markets?
We are particularly interested in any studies, reports and/or data within Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA and UK/Ireland.
The product developed for us should be a document (probably a table) which outlines the research, who did it, what its focus was, what sort of information the research/report/data contains related to consumer preferences and where the report/information and data can be found (weblink or source).
