communication flow processes within departments. Technical communication encompasses a
range of disciplines such as, information architecture, technical illustration, training and
instructional design, that work simultaneously to communicate complex information to the
required fields (Bloom, 2014). The scope of the technical communication in an organization is
dependent on the type of organization specialization and industry. The technical specification
enables an increased responsiveness within a firm’s departments and is highly influential to the
internal business processes (Blythe, 2014). This project is a communication framework and
Training plan for BOLDFlash Corporation, a mobile division that specializes in high-tech storage
components of electronic devices.
Background and Area of Focus
BOLDFlash is a mobile division that specializes in high-tech storage components for
electronic devices. The technical communication problems in the company have further
contributed to other complexities in other divisions. Increasing sales growth, a vast number of
products, rapid pace of new product development and the reorganization of the division itself has
prompted a rise in the challenges of effective communications between the team divisions and
company stakeholders such as suppliers, customers, and partners.
Currently, BOLDFlash lacks templates and formatting requirements for the inner product
documentation or even customer materials. As a result, the tech individuals execute the product
development schedules with no formal structures and guidance. The technical support team has

company’s product complexity. They are involved in the execution of processes and are affected

stakeholder. Stakeholder communication is not all about just passing information, but it entails a
plan to advance the corporate activities (Yang, 2014). Before embarking on the scheme, it is
important to acknowledge the importance of each stakeholder. Recognition of the technical staff,
sales and marketing team and customers would enable an organization to deliver a sense of
validation and gain insight on the communication approach.
The responsible team should also include the common challenges associated with the
company’s products and services and the possible remedial suggestions. Focusing on the product’s
problems and the solution can involve focusing on the complexities identified by both the technical
staff and customers and the possible solutions and presenting it to the key stakeholders (Yang,
2014). For example, the common problems associated with disk drives can be identified and their
possible installation solutions. The other common practice is to organize the information in order
of importance to the stakeholders. For improvement of product documentation, in precise,
execution of a task can be delivered in order of priority to enhance simplicity in the communication
approach.
