Course Project - Executive Summary
The executive summary is a one-page summary of what to expect in your
paper highlighting the main points of your proposal. It is the
marketing piece of the project. You should use the executive summary as a
tool to get the reader intrigued, so he or she wants to read your
proposal to get more information. To engage the reader, identify the
purpose and use appropriate tone and usage for the audience. Consider
addressing the situation and your audience's views fairly and
respectfully. As you summarize, be sure to convey the understanding and scope of
the proposal. Give a thorough explanation of the proposal, and highlight
relevant research to support the main idea. Your executive summary should be written as a professional document and should include these headings:PurposeProblemSolution or Plan Conclusion

CSU Concepts of The Importance of Communication and The Concept of Leadership Paper
You will be graded based on your thorough demonstration of your knowledge of the course concepts you choose, and the appropriate application of those concepts to management or broadly defined organizational dilemmas, problems, or situations depicted in the film.
For instance, you may write about the low motivation of Peter in the movie Office Space, including a complex analysis of why he has low motivation (utilizing theories/concepts we covered in the course), the consequences of this low motivation, and what could possibly be done to increase his motivation.
Each topic must be discussed in detail. The more you can relate concepts to one another, the better! I am looking for a complex, and full analysis of the concept. I want to see that you both understand the concept, as well as your ability to apply the concept to a real-world, (or at least in the movie), situation.
You will choose the film that you analyze. (An episode of a TV series is also OK.) I encourage you to be creative with your film choice. However, please do not pick something so obscure that I cannot readily find it online, (if you are unsure of whether a film is “too obscure” please check with me). The film does not have to be set in a workplace/office environment, however that may simplify this assignment for you. Here are a few suggestions:
Office Space (now that I’ve given the example above of Peter’s low motivation, you cannot use that as one of your concepts)
