Erica Johnson RE: Social Marketing 101 This week's discussion is hard since i tend to shop a lot. But the business i would go for is Forever 21. Which is a huge franchise when it comes the new fashion styles leading towards young adults and teenagers. For some reason, i haven't seen any deals containing Forever 21 and their products. For them to increase their sales and grab more customers using Face book, Twitter or Instagram, i think that they should have 10% off anyone to like page or follow them. Also, i believe that they should have monthly coupons for loyal customers with either jewelry, clothing or both. I feel that doing something this would increase their sales and also get more customers to come to store or shop on line. What business need to know what ROIs is a performance measure used to evaluate the efficiency of an investment or to compare the effectiveness of some different investments. A key performance indicator is a measurable value that demonstrates how efficiently a company is achieving critical business objectives. Businesses need to know that KPIs, ROIs and Web analytics measurements show how well a business is performing. Small firms that track KPIs regularly are twice as likely to hit their targets. KPIs are driven by accurate data so that a precise measure of progress is provided. For example: Instead of just saying, “Our customers love us,” the company would be able to say something like: “88% of clients say they would buy from us again, up from 85% last year, and 82% would recommend us to others, up from 80% last year. The online marketing is an ever growing industry. In my opinion tracking the ROI of an advertising campaign is a good idea to follow. This will help to identify which campaign has been successful and which ones have not. You can then terminate the ones which are performing poorly. When you analyze frequently, it will help you to find weak points in the advertising campaign and the websites. ROI tracking will contribute to evaluate site visitors. Web analytics is the collection, reporting, and analysis of site data. The focus is identifying measures based on the business and user goals. Using the site data to determine the success or failure of those goals and to drive strategy and improve the user’s experience.
