The United States occupational safety and health administration is an established agency
under the United States department of labor. Under the occupational safety and health act, this
agency was created and signed by President Richard M. Nixon 29th December 1970. The agency
was passed into law by the president in order to ensure that every individual who was working in
the United States was entitled to a nation state of safety and healthful working conditions (Seong
& Mendeloff, 2004). The origin of this regulation was from officials who worked in the labor
department as a result of being discontented with the inadequate range of authority to legalize
