Importance of Becoming a Global Citizen
Global citizens are people who classify themselves as part of a developing world
community and whose deeds contribute to building this community’s morals and practices
(Reysen & Katzarska-Miller, 2013). They often learn about the diverse culture of different
communities in their studies through general education courses and the people they relate with,
which makes it easier for them to blend in the world community. Such a community always
tends to be beneficial to a global citizen. It often has positive outcomes which help in developing
the life of such individual.
Benefits of being a Global citizen in the World of Advanced Technology
In the video, Charles Taylor, a philosopher, shows how global citizenship can be
beneficial to the involved individuals or the people who surround them (Jakobs & Monfils,
