PROBLEM DEFINITION
❖ Our problem statement for the grant proposal developed aimed at
providing healthcare and medical supplies to Venezuela. All
stakeholders were involved in coming up with the decision. The
Venezuelan government was contacted and the affected communities
where these supplies would be sent to agreed to the need for these
provisions. We also discussed our problem statement with the
organization’s departments.
❖ Lack of healthcare and medical facilities has led to increased mortality
rates especially during the economic and political crisis that the
Venezuelan government is facing at the moment. The shortage of
medical facilities has caused major immigrations from the country and
those who are left behind have difficulties accessing these resources.
