Both the ancient Greek and the period of the renaissance had different views of humanity.
During this time, there was the rise of one of the first humanist Protagoras, who was a Greek
philosopher. He emitted two features of humanism such as he made humanity the main point of
values and consideration he was also accused of impiety which cost him to be exiled from
Athens. Therefore, humanism for the Greek was not only used for the purpose of philosophy but
also it was a form of expression of art and politics.
The ancient Greek viewed humanism as the human involvement at the center of events.
The Greek on humanism, as compared to the renaissance view of humanism, emphasize on the
human body as physical beauty and athleticism. During this time, athleticism represented
military advantage and it helped in the prediction of war. Through the Ancient Greek view of
humanity, it has led to an extraordinary respect for the dignity of all individuals despite their
human shortcomings (Susan, 2013).
Humanism or the aspect of humanity during the Renaissance period was like a second
education using Latin and Greek classics which scholars used to boost their theological studies
and it had a huge impact on the philosophy based on morals (Richard, 2013).During this time,
