Culture’s Contribution to Play
In this era, everyone knows what a play is. It will also be important to note that these plays had
different meanings and significance in the society. This is to mean that people are different based
on the plays he played. I wanted to try someone I did not know so I went for my aunt. I decided
that I will ask her some questions instead. My questions concentrated on her as a person but also
I wanted to know the different beliefs of the parents. The reason parents are also a determinant
factor is simply that they played a big role on what kind of play a child would be interested in.
Some parents were simply lovers of the skits and believed that it would teach their kids lessons
while others were simply favorites of the sports. They believed in physical strength.
The questions I had prepared to ask my aunt were as follows:
How would you define your childhood?
Do you feel that play is important for the children?
Describe how you played in your childhood?
Does culture have a big influence on the way you raise your children?
Do you feel that play is different today than it was back when you were a child?
When did you first find out about racism?
These were just but a few of the things I was going to engage her in. If I was to
categorize my aunt, I would put her in the group of people who are open minded and like to
